You’ve probably heard by now that we’ve got an oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, thanks to stellar work by British Petroleum (BP), Halliburton, and Blackwater. Okay, so I totally made up that bit about Blackwater (now Xe), but doesn’t it seem like they should be a part of this motley crew? Replace Blackwater with Transocean.
Before Congress a couple of days ago, the three companies did a hell of a job blaming each other for the disaster, which has killed 11 workers and caused only god knows what kind of environmental and economic damage in the Gulf.
The Guardian newspaper in the United Kingdom scored an interview with the CEO of BP who admitted, Yeah, I could lose my job over this.
Your job? Damn, baby. You should be sent to prison.
