I assume that every time I gain a reader I lose a reader.
there was a piece on NPR a few months back about the state of the health care system... you know, before the dems completely blew it ... that examined that state of health care for animals, and they interviewed a woman who had pet health insurance for her hedgehog. oh wait, was it a porcupine? well, whatever it was, it suffered from severe depression after it had to have surgery, and her pet hedgehog is on medicine that costs $100 or more each month. And of course, the pet insurance company found a way to not pay for it ... preexisting condition or something. Because, of course, all hedgehogs have preexisting depression.
