My Adopted College Team
Because I went to... well, let's face it... a gay school, I've always been a Kansas University Jayhawks fan in college sports.So a special shout-out this morning to KU, which took violent abolitionists, turned them into a fictional bird, and won the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1988.
Seriously, it was a hell of a game. The Memphis Tigers were up by nine with two minutes left, and I started getting ready for bed. I only kept it on the TV because I'd accepted that Kansas was going to lose yet another NCAA Tournament Final, something they've done on numerous occasions in the past two decades.

That was a heck of a game!
Now tune in for tonight's Women's NCAA Basketball Championship as it interrupts the regularly scheduled programming on OLN!
Or is it the Game Show Network?
CBS? Really? Oh, well, I guess I'll just flip between that and AI...
I'm trying to find the appropriate response to the "gay school" comment, but I just can't put my finger on it.
