Mets vs. Dodgers -- Live Blog!
OK, dear B&E readers...
I'm up in Vermont for the annual Literary Festival, so naturally, I'm watching Game 3 of the National League Divisional Series - Mets vs. Dodgers, now playing in LA.
I'm going to live blog this one, I think. At least until I get distracted by pumpkin pie, which has been promised to me in a little while. Or until I get bored. I've never done this before, so we'll see.
It's pre-game right now, and the Yankees lost to the Tigers earlier today. I was sort of hoping for a Subway Series, but at the same time, I'm happy for the Tigers, and watching the Yankees lose is always enjoyable. After the first game, I didn't think that anyone was going to beat the Yankees. They're just too deep. Too good. Too professional. Apparently, for three games, they were too lousy. Or maybe the Tigers were too good. Who knows? I sure don't. I didn't see any of the games.
So now it's Mets vs. Dodgers. I'll be sitting here with "Phil," which may or may not be his real name. So if I quote "Phil" from time to time, I'm referring to him. We're sitting in a room in a converted barn at Hall Farm. See link to the right for details.
LET'S GO METS!
