Katrina
Rush "Pass the Painkillers" Limbaugh has begun referring to Hurricane Katrina as Katrina vandel Heuvel. For those of you who don't know, she's editor in chief of The Nation, the lefty rag I'm so fond of.
So while the waters rise in New Orleans, while the death toll rises across the Gulf coast, while many, many people are without homes or power, Rush gets the biggest, fattest, blindest, most addicted laugh in the country.

Rush. Even after showing himself to be a patheticly shallow man who ranted about drug users while being one, his followers were more than willing to forgive his "medical condition." I will forever be disgusted with both he and his entire listening audience.
Although, it is nice to be provided support to your beliefs about the true nature of people, isn't it?
The Mets beat the Phillies on Ramon Castro's clutch, late-inning, three-run bomb, moving into a virtual tie for the Wild Card lead, and all you can talk about is the fact that New Orleans is under water? Come on, man - let's get some perspective here!
