In response to today's less severe yet disconcerting attacks in London, Tony Blair said to remain calm, as explosions are meant to scare people.
Well, guess what, Mr. Prime Minister. The shit works. Explosions are fucking scary.

Actually, explosions are meant to kill, hurt, and scare people, and they are very effective in all regards.
I'm a bit confused by the distinction between the "bombs" used on July 7th and the "detonators" used today.
What the fuck were they trying to detonate?
Or is forgetting the actual bombs aspect of setting off explosions just what happens when the smartest guys in your terrorist cell have already blown themselves up?
