...I've been hitting the refresh button on my browser all day, waiting for the moment the New York Times finally reports that the pope is dead. I predict, in writing, that he's gonna hang on until 2007. You heard it here first.

You may be a morbid bastard, but I am a selfish bitch who will probably go to hell as my first thought when I heard of his "grave condition" was, "I wonder if we will get a paid day off for his funeral, we did for Ronald Reagan so surely the Pope qualifies." Gotta love being a state employee!
